The name is Maabena. I am Child of the Most High God just like you. Can I tell you why I  write?

I write as an expression of who I am, my identity, my personality,my pain, my fears, my life- present, past and future. As I write, I process thoughts that I have, I discover new ideas and receive an understanding o who I am and will be. Writing gives me a voice that empowers not only who I am but others who might be like me and give perspective to those who cannot relate.

When I write, I come alive and I am renewed because I write not only what I know of and understand but also what I do not know and cannot comprehend because the author of all things; JESUS writes with me. I can feel his heartbeat and share his thoughts and impressions to a hope famished and restless world. I discover his heart for me which becomes and is his heart for creation.

I write because, I love the author and I am always amazed at what he is writing in me and through me. I write because I am a lover.
